MY TIME IN AND AROUND PERTH!

This is where I went and what I did ......

We land in PERTH on the 11th of october. Now we are both really exited!!..What adventures are waiting for us in this uge country downunder?? The customs search through all our luggage, checking our food, carvings and other souvernirs we bought on Bali. when we finally got outta there, a friend, Troy, waited for us to pick us up. He was very nice and even let us stay at his place in Subiaco. It was really nice to be welcome into a warm Aussie-home. Ann and me shared his extra bedroom. Perth is a wonderful City! I liked it alot. It isn´t as big as I thought it would be and it was clean and friendly.

What we were up to in Perth:

We went to Freemantle, an old harbour city just outside Perth. It was very nice there. The first night Troy and his friend, Russel took us there to drink some beer and have dinner.
We visited one of Australias oldest prison in Freemantle.
We went to the Zoo
We drove up north along the coast and saw the neverending beaches. Visited a national park that was really nice with Koalas, kangaroos and other cute animals.
One night we bought takeway chineese food and went up to Kings park and had a very nice picknick with a great view over Pert by night!..The picture above was taken from there...To bad I couldn�t hold my camera steady..*laugh*
What we didn´t manage to find out about Perth was the NIGHTLIFE!!...Does it exist at all????..*laugh*..Well...Not on a Tuesday night anyway...
